Not sure what to say?

I knew him thru Sandy Tschumperlin, she always spoke very highly of him. HE SOUNDS LIKE HE WAS A SPECIAL PERSON!

Mike was my friend for 63 years-a true friend who called me once a week after my beloved husband died to make sure I was ok or to check & see if I needed any thing. Even tho I lived far away-NV & now NC-he never forgot me. I still have some of his saved messages on my phone. Our good bye’s were always ‘Hey, we’ll dance together in Heaven.” What a celebration that will be. Love you Mike-may Our Father God bless all of your family. Blessings, Sandy Tschumperlin

Mike was my friend for 64 years. When my Husband died Mike would call me every week to make sure I was ok. A loving caring gentle man. We always laughed & talked about our plan that someday we will dance together in Heaven! It’s ok to cry Carla, God knows our pain. Blessings, Sandy T.

Genuinely caring about what you were up to in your life and always sharing his kindness! Love and support and memories always! Thank you Mike for the smiles! All the love to you Perez family!

I have many favorite memories of Mikey. He was everyone’s #1 supporter.
But one of my favorite memories is definitely dancing lessons in Richard’s market! Mike came in almost on a daily basis and tried to teach me some dance moves every once in a while. He was one person you could always count on to bring a smile to your face. He will be absolutely missed.

So sorry about the passing of Mike. He was such a great friend..Always taking the time to talk to me. Carla and family I'm so sorry for ur loss. Sending prayers and hugs to you all..

He was a special person. I did not know he passed away. He was always so friendly and would help anyone. Sending our prayers to his family. He most definitely will be missed. RIP Mike. You were so important to so many people and we all needed your presence here on earth. You had such a beautiful spirit and will always be remembered

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Carla and family sending our love and prayers!

He was a great and nice man always got a hug when I would run into him

Mike's Obituary

Mike Louciano Perez, Jr., 87 of Gustine passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Golden Age Living in Newman.

Mike met his wife Carla in 1968 and married on August 16, 1969. It was the second marriage for them both and they combined their three children. Nine years later they were blessed with their fourth child.

In their early years, Mike had the chevron station, meaning there were occasional cars that were brought or pushed to the station to be worked on and stranded travelers who needed food and shelter. The first were four hippies either coming from or to Yosemite, they pitched their tent in the backyard. The second time, it was a family of sixteen from China, headed to San Francisco. They had their food but the sixteen, that ranged from grandparents to infants slept on the living room floor.

Most of Mike and Carlas lives were devoted to their family and helping those in need. They gathered clothes and sent them to orphanages in Mexico. In later years they delivered food to shut ins and to those that could not get food on their own. Mike and Carla made sure that anyone in need would not go unnoticed.

Celebration of Life for Mike will be Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10 am at Henry Miller City Park, 670 2nd Street in Gustine.

Please respect the privacy and mourning period of the family.
