Not sure what to say?

Mike will always be remembered by me but, especially every time I go to Kure Beach Pier

Mike was a pleasure to know and his Friendship over these last few decades has so been enjoyed. He was never to busy to help a friend.

As a paint contractor, my sons and I painted the Kure Beach pier house several times over the years, plus painting at Mike & Lisa's house. Like many of those I painted for, I considered Mike not only a customer but a friend. I remember Paul and Kelsey when they were just kids, and had the pleasure of getting to know Paul a little as an adult the last time I painted the pier house. Kure Beach is a special place, and would not be the same without the Robertson family.

I was at the pier today october 9, 2022 and ask if Mike had been in today and was told he died this past July. I was both shocked and sad. I had no idea he had been sick or passed away. My husband and I would chat with Mike on our trips down from Cary we will miss him its not the same without him. We are so sorry for your loss.

Mike was one of the best people I've ever met. I love working on the pier! It was some of my best best memories. The things he taught me have always stuck with me. I will be forever grateful for him. He was a "dad" to us kids especially the one's that didn't have one around. Lisa, I'm so sorry for your lose! My prayers are with all of Mike's friends and family. He is missed.

Just was visiting at Kure and heard. Prayers to the Robertson family. Lots of fond memories of Mike starting with rides to Hoggard, working at the pier, life guarding, and just having fun. Each day of life needs to be cherished. Rest in peace and God bless.

Growing up with you and the time we spent going to California after graduation has been the highlight of my life. Sure wish I could have spent more time with you. Love You Brother

We have owned a home at Kure Beach since the 90s but only met Mike a year ago He certainly appeared to be an upstanding person. We thank God for his life and his influence with his family and in the community.

I helped take care of Tony and Jennie and I wish I could've helped take care of you. You and Pat and Lisa brought me to Kure Beach, helped me find a place to live, and gave me one of the best jobs I've ever had on Kure Beach Pier. Mike, you were like a brother I never had. I love you more than you could ever imagine, and I'll never forget you. When I go off the pier, I'll be swimming to your fishing hole to see you. All my love, Susan Frissell (cousin it).
