Mildred Mae Michael Kinty, 85, died August 26, 2017 at the Tygart Center in Fairmont, WV, where she resided since 2007. She was born August 11, 1932 in Fairview, WV, the oldest of five children to the late Chester Michael and Mildred Maggie Tuttle Michael.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Carl Franklin Kinty; two sisters, Phyllis Jean Michael Kinty Less and Alice Diane Michael Huffman; two brothers-in-law, Robert Lee Kintyhtt and Harold Joseph Kinty; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Naomi Kinty Geer.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Kinty of Frederick, MD; one sister, Patricia Ann Michael Floyd and her husband, William of Lacrosse, WI; one brother, Chester Lee Michael and his wife, Susan Williams Santee Michael of Fairview, WV; two sisters-in-law, Jeanie Kintyhtt Sexton of Ohio and Elsie Marie Kintyhtt Winemiller of Texas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and relatives, including her roommate and best friends at the Tygart Center, Jean Erdie and Leona Hayes.
To celebrate her life, family and friends will meet at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont at the graveside, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 3 p.m. with Elder Chuck Hicks officiating.
