So sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. My thoughts are with you.

So sorry to hear that Millie had passsed. You are all in my prayers.

The Suchanek family sends it's heartfelt condolences to the whole Wiknik family on the passing of their beloved Mille who was a neighbor and friend ever since I can remember. We often reminisce about our visit with Millie, Art, Janice and Diane at our home in Jefferson City Missouri on one of their many casino trips. Rest in peace Dear Millie.

I will treasure the times when Millie was in Maine for family times and visits with family in belfast, Waterville and Lincolnville beach. She was a very special Lady. My condolences to the families.margaret and Donald Cunningham

Mildred L.'s Obituaries

Mildred L Wiknik, 89, of Higganum, wife of 66 years of the late Arthur Wiknik Sr.; died after a short illness on January 12th at St. Francis Hospital.

She was born in Middle Haddam, daughter of Austin & Lillian Chapman Richards. She retired from CVH after 30 years where she worked as a nursing supervisor.

Millie is survived by her children, Diane Andrews, Arthur and Betty-Jane Wiknik, Jr., Janice and Bob Kadrle of Higganum and Gerald Wiknik of Durham; sisters, Ruth Wells of King George, VA, Mary Jane Boyce, of East Hampton; grandchildren: Carol Andrews, Kathy Labieniec, Brenda Rust, Rob Kadrle, Sarah Prue, Kimberly Nunez, Ashley Wiknik, Kevin Wiknik, Brendan Wiknik, six great grandchildren, the Zanelli boys and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Francis Granat and Tina Edgar, her brother Bobby Richards, son-in-law Lou Andrews and many of the Landell card gang. She enjoyed Maine vacations with family and friends, card playing, casino bingo, snowmobiling, and proudly spoke of traveling to all the lower 48 states.

Funeral Services will be held January 16th at 11:00 AM at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St, Middletown.  Friends may call prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Bearers are her grandchildren: Carol, Kathy, Brenda, Rob, Sarah, Kimberly, Ashley, Kevin and Brendan. Honorary bearers are: Bud Burr, Tom Novak and Ernie Pike.
