Mildred M.Rogner

Frankenmuth, MI

 

Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 3, 2024 at Covenant Glen; age 92 years. Mildred Loesel was born on January 1, 1932 in Frankenmuth to Norman and Helen Loesel. She was married to Arno Rogner on August 27, 1955 at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church; he predeceased her on March 6, 2019.

 

Mildred was employed by Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, Lutheran Missionary Guild, American Legion Auxiliary and for many years promoted the Gift of Life Program. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Surviving are: two children, Patricia (Steven) Block of Frankenmuth and Timothy (Deborah) Rogner of Dublin, OH; six grandchildren: Kevin (Kristen) Rogner, Eric (Andrea) Rogner of Rochester Hills, MI, Jennifer (Justin) Warns, Scott (Melissa) Block, Carla Rogner, and Anthony Rogner; nine great-grandchildren: Serena, Gabriella, Alyssa, Jackson, Madelyn, Elisabeth, Camden, Noah and Isaiah; and many nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her husband Arno, Mildred was preceded in death by son Daniel and four brothers and one sister: Frederick Loesel, Edward Loesel, Roland (Anita) Loesel, Victor (Lorraine) Loesel, and Irene (Arthur) Reinbold.

 

Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Mildred’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or Gift of Life Michigan.
