Moises we will miss u papa...i can still remember the times when we use,to go to u house in gary and u use to gives us hair cut...we will be having those military cut...lol...u will be having cramps on ur hand cutting all of the guys hair from richy to me...lol..papa i will miss...but i know u are in a better place and u are not suffering any more....love u bro...moises cruz

Moises's Obituary

Moises "Moe" Fontanez, age 59, of Hobart passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 24, 1955 in Gary, Indiana to Enrique and Ana Rose Fontanez. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Moe worked his entire life as an auto mechanic. He was an avid fan of any Chicago sports team.Moe is survived by his parents, Enrique and Ana Fontanez; beloved wife of 36 years, Lily (Pedroza) Fontanez; sons, Steve (Juana) Espinoza, Jaime Espinoza, Bobby (Jen) Espinoza; 11 grandchildren; 9 brothers and sisters; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his dog, Precious. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Josephina Maldonado. Memorial contributions in Moe's name may be made to the family. A funeral service for Moe will take place on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342 with Pastor Israel Santiago officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Friends are invited to come to the funeral home Tuesday, February 17, 2015 to share memories of Moe at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
