You will be missed

Monika was a dear friend of mine when she lived in Charlestown Indiana in the 70's. I'll always remember her coming back to town and going on a family vacation with me to Daytona Beach Florida. We were entering our sophomore year in high school. We stayed in touch over the years and I visited her in Lexington when she was visiting family and again in Louisville. We were definitely sweethearts in junior high. Although our paths didn't cross over the last 20+ years, I thought of her often and...

Monika was a very special person. We always enjoyed being with her at work and at parties. Her love for animals was a wonderful expression of her kind and loving spirit. She was a good friend and will be missed.

I’m so sorry & saddened that I didn’t take the time to stop by when I was in your neck of the woods & now it’s too late. I was blessed by knowing both Mo & Alan when we were neighbors in the country.

I am heartbroken. Monika has been a fixture in my life for so long I can barely remember a world without her. I will miss her terribly. My deepest condolences to Alan, her nephews & other friends.

I have known Monika since the fall of 1979 and we have called each other sister for as long as I can remember. We loved going to Greenfield Village with our Collies and meeting up at Dog shows with our Collies. She was great at training dogs and working them on herding. She was such a dedicated and faithful friend and sister to Earl and me. Its so hard to believe she is gone and I will miss her for the rest of my life.
