Mozelle Williams

Mozelle Williams went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday September 16,2025. Mozelle Williams was born to the late Crezell and Prince Young. On January 28,1943. She retired from Siemens after many years where she worked for more than 20 years. After retiring Mozelle took pride in  spoiling her grandkids and great grandkids. Mozelle was  very active in her church  at Providence Baptist Church serving on the women’s hospitality board. 

Mozelle was married to the late Otha C Williams for more than 45 years and out of that union they had three children 1 daughter Regina (Troy) of Newport News, 2 sons Cornell of Newport News and the late Raythell. Extended son/ nephew Marty Williams of Hampton, VA. Mozelle had three Grandchildren 1 granddaughter Nakeisha Hardy of Fayetteville,Nc  two Grandsons Aaron Williams and Quantavius Ward both of Newport News,Va. She also had a bonus Grandson Kendrick Hardy of Chattanooga TN. She had three great grandchildren whom she cherished dearly Tanijah Morris, Kentrell Hardy, and the late angel Prince Williams. Two Goddaughters Cristy Carson and Adrianna Wellons both of Newport News, Va. Mozelle has 1 brother John Young(Irene) of Louisburg, Nc and 1 sister Dorothy(Adam) of Castalia NC, one spiritual sister Eula Wilson of Newport News, VA she also has three angel sisters as well Janie, Shirley and Tina. She leaves behind one extended niece/daughter Angela Hinton(Billy) of Newport News,VA., and a host of beautiful nieces and nephews along with her neighborhood family with a host of extended family and friends . Mozelle also leaves behind her Providence church family.

A viewing will be held Friday September 26, 2025 from 4pm - 6pm. at Nickelson Cummings Funeral Home. 4304 Victoria Blvd. Hampton, VA 23669. A celebration of life will be held noon Saturday September 27, 2025 at Providence Baptist Church 1331 30th street Newport News, Va. Burial services will held at Hampton Memorial gardens 155 Butler Farm Rd. following services.
