Mr. David Dailey, Jr. the son of the late David and Regenia Edwards Dailey was born on August 15, 1938 in Holly Hill, South Carolina and transitioned from earth to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

David grew up in the Unity Community and attended public schools in Holly Hill, South Carolina.

David Dailey, Jr., “Mutt”,as he was known to many left South Carolina at an early age and moved to Miami, Florida where he would reside for 50+ years. While there, he joined First United Methodist Church.  After the closing of First United Methodist Church, he joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He was formally employed at the Sanitation Department of Miami for many years. David became an entrepreneur in lawn service. Soon after he became employed with the City of Miami for 30 years, where he retired. After retirement, David went back into what he loved best -  lawn service.

David was humble, someone you can depend on, a great father, brother, uncle and friend to many.

David met his soulmate, Lula Hilliard. They were joined together for many years.

On May 19, David transitioned to his eternal home. His entire family and circle of friends are content knowing he is resting easy on the shore.
