We take this time to acknowledge the passing of the late Mr. David Lee Smith. Mr. Smith, 69, of Belzoni, MS, closed his eyes for eternal rest, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Yazoo Health and Rehabilitation Center in Yazoo City, MS. 

The public visitation will be Friday, December  26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Belzoni, MS.

The Homegoing Service will be Saturday, December 27, 2025, 11:09 a.m. at Bread of Life Church, Isola, MS. 

The burial will be at Deovelente Cemetery, Belzoni, MS. 

David is survived by his son, Ricky Brown, brothers, Homer Smith, Sr., Ronald Neal, Sr. & Kurt F. Smith, sister, Carrie Lee Smith Young, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
