A celebration of life service for Mr. Herbert Harrigan who transitioned on March 17, 2026, will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Westside Community Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1803 E. Shadowlawn Avenue, Tampa, Florida with Officiants Rev. Doret Jean, Rev. Oliant St. Jacques and Rev. Michel Desrosiers. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida 33605 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Tampa, Florida following the service on Thursday. We ask that you keep the Harrigan family lifted in prayer during this time of bereavement.Herbert Harrigan was born on April 18th, 1960, in Jean Rebel, Haiti to parents Elizabeth Richardson and Albert Harrigan. He was born the second to last of many siblings. At the tender age of 17, he left his home country in Haiti and traveled to the United States in search of a better life. There he met his wife, Rose Manie Dorisca, whom he would spend 45 years with and share two daughters, Bertha and Harriette Harrigan. He went to a technical college where he studied to be an electrician, although he was a jack of all trades and always willing to give a helping hand where needed. Later in life, Herbert was called on by God, and he founded Assemble De La Grace Baptist Church in 2002. He loved the Lord and loved his church with every fiber of his being and considered it one of his best works. He ran point on many missionary trips to Haiti and also built Tabernacle De La Grace Church in the countryside of St Louis de Nord. Herbert loved his family as well as different pastimes such as traveling, exploring, unique cuisines, meeting and helping new people, and most importantly the Lord. His laugh and infinite wisdom will be missed. May he rest peacefully in his Father's arms.
