Mr. Waldo will be greatly missed in our neighborhood. Almost daily he could be seen strolling the streets sometimes singing, always ready with a friendly wave and sometimes stopping for a chat. Thankful he is with Jesus and at the same time I am so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Ivory's Obituary

Mr. Ivory Waldo Pugh was born to the late Percy Pugh and Irene Hawkins Phillips in Beaumont, Texas, on June 10, 1947. He was raised in Beaumont and received his education at local schools within the community.

He received Christ at an early age. Ivory was a member of the Saints Temple Church of God in Christ in the Voth Community in Beaumont.

He was employed as a roofer with Price Roofing Company for many years prior to his retirement.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Ivory responded to his father's call and transitioned from his earthly labor to enter into his eternal heavenly reward.

Ivory leaves behind cherished memories with his wife, Reesie Pugh; sons, Nekia Ivory Junior Pugh (Sherrell) and Jonthan Russell Pugh (Barbra); daughters, Tameka Gail Pugh Bourne (Norris) and Tara Kemp; sister, Anetta Pugh Benard; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
