Graveside service for Mr. Jimmy Williams 75, of Killeen, TX will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, 11:00 a.m.at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Jimmy Williams, lovingly known as “Big Will,” passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on August 24, 1949, in Corsicana, Texas, Jimmy was a man full of life, warmth, and an unshakable joy that radiated to everyone around him.
Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Army for 24 years, working in Logistics and rising to the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and the Korean War. After his honorable retirement, he brought that same drive and determination to the community by running a successful car detailing business for over 40 years. He was, in every sense, one of the hardest-working men you could ever meet.
Jimmy had a vibrant spirit — fun, loving, charming, and full of charisma. He had a heart for people, always offering a kind word or a smile, even in his final days. He will be remembered not only for his work ethic but also for his kind soul and the way he made others feel seen and cared for.
He had many passions in life: cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, watching wrestling, restoring his old truck, and meticulously tending to his lawn. Music filled his world — he loved spinning old records and had a deep appreciation for blues and jazz that often echoed through his home.
Jimmy was a beloved husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kismet Williams; his children: Jimmy Dean Williams, Sakinah Tunstalle, Kismet Canady, Iman Williams, and Isis Williams; his cherished grandchildren: Anahi Morales, Carlito Morales, Briah Canady, and Xaira Canady, his sister, Sammie Stone, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew Stone and Lieal Mae Tillie Williams and grandparents Harvey and Nancy Williams.
Though he may no longer walk beside us, Jimmy’s love, laughter, and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We thank God for the gift of his life and take comfort in knowing he is resting in eternal peace.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
