Always friendly and helpful !!

I met Joe after I moved into the Webster Houses many years ago. The basketball court was where most of we friends met. Joe was a little younger than the other guys I associated with but basketball was our bond. What I remember fondly was his love of the song Easy by the Commodores. It seemed one of his favorite lines was, “I wanna be free, just me.” Joe is finally, free. Rest in peace my friend.

To the Bush family, Thoughts and prayers from my family to yours during this difficult time. I have fond memories of my time working security at the BECPL, and many involve Joe. He was a great boss, a friend, and a great listener and giver of advice for a young man just figuring things out. I can still hear his deep laugh echo through the halls of the library, and I honestly can't remember a bad day working with Joe. May you find peace and comfort in your memories of Joe. God bless.
