Julian Francis Bright Jr.of Hampton Virginia was called home on Sunday September 3, 2017 at Hampton VA Hospital. Julian was preceded in death by his parents Julian F. Bright Sr. and Shirley Bright;a twin brother Jerome Bright. He was born at John Hopkins Hospital December 1, 1948 the first born male twin. He attended Baltimore Public Schools. After graduating from Frederick Douglass High School, he served in the United States Army. He worked as a patient escort at the VA hospital in Hampton. Julian was loved by the patients as well as the staff. As a young man he worked with his father at Standard Auto supply store in Baltimore. As a young child he was fascinated with chemistry. He loved building model cars, planes and on Friday nights he loved roller skating. In his free time he enjoyed listening to music.He leaves to mourn here on Earth his beloved wife of 33 years Helen C. Bright of Charles City Virginia. Two sisters Janice and Valerie Bright of Baltimore, Maryland; one brother Vernon Bright of Baltimore, Maryland. Three step daughters Patricia A. Coles, Monica Chapman, and Elois Adkinson all of Hampton, Virginia. One stepson Gerald Carter of Richmond, Virginia. A host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and close friends.         Where has all the time gone, dear love?  I understand why God wanted you above. Your smile was sweet and oh so tender, but to God you had to surrender. Our days will be so different now, but we know you look down through the clouds. We will truly miss your loving ways, but gladly remember better days. So rest in peace, our beloved one because through God your race is already won.          Your loving wife Helen C.Bright and family.Services for Mr. Bright will be held noon Thursday, September 7, 2017 at C. C. Carter Funeral Home Chapel 3314 Roanoke Ave. Newport News, VA. Interment will follow with military honors at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery. Viewing for Mr. Bright will be held from two hours prior to the service only.It is the desire of the Bright family that you would keep them in your thoughts and prayers.The family of the late Mr. Julian Bright has entrusted his final care to the staff of C.
