We were brothers when I entered in the Corps and I met most of his family in Silsbee. We were inseparable anyone who knew KD they would see Rob aka DEEP ZONE!!!!!!!!! I love you Brother!!!!!! Family stay encouraged and know I will be praying for you all during your time of mourning

Keith will be greatly missed. He was always a joy to be around. Keith brought nothing but laughter and uplifting when we were around each other. Mr. Keith Elbert Dodd Sr. was born August 16, 1970, in Silsbee, Texas, to the late Elbert Dodd and Annetta White Dodd.
During his formative years, he was a member of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church in Silsbee, Texas, under the leadership of Pastor Percy Mitchell.
Keith was educated in the Silsbee Independent School District, graduating from Silsbee High School in 1988. He was a member of the basketball and football teams.
Upon graduating from high school, Keith served in the United States Marine Corps. (‘Semper Fi’)
After his stint in the US Marine Corps, he was employed by Conn’s Corporation in Beaumont & Houston, Texas, for twenty-plus years, and by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice until his health began to fail.
Keith enjoyed sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Keith passed away on December 14, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert C. and Annetta Dodd, sister Kimeron (Kim) Smith, and brother Kevin Dodd Sr.
Those left with everlasting memories are his sons, Keith Dodd Jr. of Lakenheath Air Force Base in Suffolk, England; Marquis Dodd of Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota; daughter, Amira Dodd of Beaumont, Texas; cousin/caregiver Charlotte Briggs of Beaumont, Texas; and an aunt Princy Holmes of Sacremento, California. Precious memories are also left to his nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other relatives and friends.
