So sorry to hear of the passing of my oldest living uncle - he was the brother to my mom: Dorothy M. Barbee. I had last seen Uncle Johnny when he turned 100 - my and my brother James Barbee travel to MS to see him and help him celebrate his 100th birthday - he also was honored by the county in which he lived at the time with a parade thru the town. Mr.Posey was our neighbor for 39 years. We will miss him very much. I believe he would have been 105 around Nov. 12. And he could make some awesome fudge!

So sorry, to hear of his passing. I'm sure he had wanted to go since the day his dear wife, Margaret passed. So proud to say that he was the oldest Veteran in Petal, MS. Forever Rest in Paradise. Go Rest High on that mountain.
