My dear brother, Mr. Murphy Randolph Jr, I am truly missing you. I will always remember the laughter and fun times we shared. Especially, in 2022 when we had 9 days together to reflect, laugh, hug each other and tell each other how much we loved each other. REST IN PEACE my brother until we meet again.

Mr. Murphy's Obituary

The celebration of life service will go forth Saturday, March 23, 2024, 11:00 a. m. at the Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home Cemetery, 318 North Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457.  The casketed remains will lie in state from 10:00 a. m. to service time.  Burial arrangements with military honors are scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2024 in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Leesville, LA.

The Legacy of Murphy Randolph, Jr.

Mr. Murphy Randolph Jr. was born December 27, 1954, tothe late Reverend Murphy Randolph, Sr. and Dollie MaeHumphrey-Randolph of Natchez, La. Murphy attendedNatchez Elementary and St. Matthew High School. Aftergraduating high school, he enlisted in the United StatesArmy. Murphy Randolph, Jr. then joined in Holy MatrimonyMrs. Clytia (Claudia) Stephens-Randolph on December 12,1979. Afterward, he had several occupations until hisretirement, with the most notable being with the City ofNatchitoches and Weyerhaeuser.Murphy lived his life to the fullest, where he enjoyedgardening, cooking, playing dominos and shooting pool. Healso loved to mentor the young men in his community andwas often looked at as a father figure to many.Murphy was preceded in death by both his parents and twosiblings: Honor Randolph-Johnson and Johnny Randolph.Those left to celebrate his life are his devoted wife, ClytiaRandolph and children, Michael Randolph (Nina) ofNatchitoches, LA, Angela Llopis (Brandon Sr.) of Fort Worth,TX and Roderick Stephens of Natchitoches, LA; fivegrandchildren – McKenzie Bryant, Brandon Llopis Jr, NoahLlopis, Michael Randolph Jr, and Mariah Randolph. He alsoleaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Nora Randolph(Debra) of Atlanta, GA and Kendrick Randolph (Kaliska) ofArlington, TX; four sisters: Dorothy Cody (Edward) andJohnnie Williams of Atlanta, GA; and Doris Payton (Clause)and Emma Johnson (Woodie Jr.) of Houston, TX. One UncleLeroy Humphrey of Natchitoches, LA and a host of nieces,nephews, and other relatives and friends.
