On behalf of my mother Delores who was like another one of his sisters. he will be missed we use to spend summers in SC and Riley always made sure we were taken care of he always greeted us hugged us took us to the store always showed us the hogs he built is a swing he was a great man and this is heartbreaking to let him go. Mr. Riley Sam Jamison, a son of the late Elliott Jamison and Etta Virginia Bannister Jamison on May 1, 1944 in Orange County, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2022 at Trident Medical Center.
He was reared in Eutawville, SC and attended public school there. He later relocated to White Plains, NY and returned home due to health issues where his sister Catherine, cared for him many years.
Riley was a loving father, brother and uncle to his family. He bought so much joy into many lives. He was always a blessing to all who wan in need. Riley was truly a person with a heart of love.
He is preceded in death by his three brothers: Leroy Jamison, Melvin Jamison and Sonny Jamison and one sister, Hilda Jamison.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: one daughter, Tiffany Coleman and one grandson, Jordan Coleman; two sisters, Joann Jamison, of New York and Catherine (Jerry) Bryant, of Eutawville, South Carolina; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Jamison and a host of nieces, nephews helped raise. You will be missed.
