Mr. Samuel J. Johnson

Mr. Samuel J. Johnson, age 90, peacefully entered eternal rest on March 11, 2026.

A devoted pillar of the community, Mr. Johnson was known for his unwavering commitment to uplifting others, advocating for change, and leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. His voice, compassion, and dedication to service will forever be remembered and cherished.

Combined services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. Matthew CME Church, 2944 N. 9th Street. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
