It is with very sad hearts that we extend our condolences to the family of Mr. W. C. Smith. Mr. Smith, 88, of Indianola, Mississippi, closed his eyes the rest forever, Wednesday , October 22, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi. 

The public visitation will be Friday, October 31, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Belzoni, Mississippi.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Wasp Lake M. B. Church, Belzoni, Mississippi. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon.

The burial will follow at True Vine Church Cemetery, Belzoni, Mississippi.

Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memories, 5 sons, Sammy Smith, W. C. Smith, Jr, John L. Smith, Bruce Smith & Marcus Jenkins, 6 daughters, Beatrice McKnight, Patricia Smith, Marilyn Smith, Carolyn Smith, LaTricia Jenkins & Linda Jenkins, brother, Roosevelt Smith, sister, Gloria Billingsley, grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends.
