I am sending my condolences and prayers to the family. Such a beautiful life lived.

We give you condolences To your family.May she rest in piece.

Mrs.Ducre was like my second grandmother. I saw her everyday growing up. As a child her yard was like a magical playground with flowers. I will miss our chats whenever I would come to visit with her. She always asked me about my life, my children. Where do I live now, and if I go to church. So many memories were created in our neighborhood. You were truly someone special. An angel amongst us my dear sweet friend. I love you and will miss you Mrs.Ducre

Rest in heaven

Sending condolences and prayers to the family. My mother Sophronia Goudeau Labrie will see her friend in heaven.

Mrs. Ducre was like an extra mother to the Hamilton family. She was a very caring person and we always tried to include her in our family gatherings. She will be missed.
Rhonda I am praying for your continuous strength as you go through this difficult time and the days ahead.

Obituary

Mrs. Lonie's Obituary

I was born July 25, 1930, in Palmetto, Louisiana, but grew up in Lebeau, Louisiana. I was the second of seven children born to the late Charlie Labrie and Pearl Durrisseau. I graduated from Immaculate Conception Catholic School. I did domestic work for fifty-plus years. In 1951, I met and married Simon Ducre, and we were together fifty-four years before his passing.

I peacefully left this world at the age of 94 years old, surrounded by my loved ones, to begin my eternal rest at my home in Beaumont on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

I am preceded in death by my husband, Simon Ducre; my two brothers, Nathaniel Labrie and Lionel Labrie; three sisters, Le Ann Hutchinson, Dianne Roberts, and Shirley Simien; and my son, Simon Martin. I am survived by my daughters, Mary Lorraine, Marvla Ann (Samuel), and Rhonda (Lawrence). Also, my loving and caring brother, Eugene Labrie, whom I enjoyed talking with often. He made it his mission to come every year to celebrate my birthday.

My grandchildren are Tamara “Tammy,” Samantha (McHenry), Alexandria (Justin), Joshua (Kierra), Simon, Kevin, Jerome (Lynda), Alisha (Darren), and Vanessa.

My great-grandchildren are Tayler, Tai, Marcelles, Payton, Paige, Zachery, Jocelyn, Madison, Rashad, Nehemiah, Kyle, and Kaden, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Throughout my life, I cared for and nurtured the Bebeau Family, whom I loved dearly. My love and devotion extended far beyond my duties, and I was blessed to be present as they all grew up. I wish to express my deepest gratitude for them embracing me and my family as one of their own. Your continued support and presence in my life were a testament to our lasting bond. I am forever grateful for the love and respect you have shown me.

Never Forget, “Keep God First!”

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7
