Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Slaid passing away. I knew her through her husband who hired me at my first and only job at Hess Oil back in 1970. I talked with her over the phone many times. She was a very sweet and soft spoken lady. She told me once that Mr. Slaid thought of me like a daughter. I was only 19 when he hired me and he had to show me how to do so many things. He took a chance on me and I guess it paid off..was with the job over 46 years. When my late husband died, Mrs. Slaid...

We enjoyed being in the Daylily Society with Martha and Murrel. They were wonderful friends and such hard workers. We will always be indebted to them for introducing us to James Moore, who later became our pastor at FBC Oloh. We treasure all the good times we had with them.

Martha has always been a special friend from the first time Doug and I met her and Muriel in 2004 when we first started attending Temple Baptist Church. She had a giving heart and a lot of fun conversation. Loved that Lady.
Love,
Doug and Barbara

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

I enjoyed her stories she always told me when I came over. She loved to sew and had a designated room for it. And she liked to look at photo books with me and reminisce starting with how she met her husband and came to Mississippi. Praying for your family.

As you know, I enjoyed a couple of visits with your mom in the last year after I found out at the HHS Reunion that she still lived here. We shared many memories of our time together in Heidelberg. She was a sweet lady.

So sorry for your loss. May joyful memories ease your heart during this time.
