Ms. Sharon Ivette Rosado Cannard of 614 1/2 East 12th Avenue, Cordele, Georgia, died Friday, March 21, 2025, at her residence.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.
Sharon Ivette Rosado Cannard graced the world with her presence on September 29, 1956, in the vibrant town of Salinas, Puerto Rico. As the cherished daughter of Paul and Ana Rosado, Sharon's early years were filled with love and warmth. Her journey in life led her to the picturesque landscapes of Monterey, California, where she completed her high school education at Seaside High School, building the foundation for her future endeavors.
Sharon was a woman whose life was enriched by simple joys and profound passions. She found immense pleasure in basking under the warm sunshine, always accompanied by her favorite flower, the radiant sunflower. Her affinity for the color yellow mirrored her sunny and vibrant disposition. A health enthusiast, Sharon believed deeply in the power of healthy eating and vitamins, consistently prioritizing her well-being.
Starbucks held a special place in her heart, with her go-to drink being a Trenta Matcha lemonade, enriched with two extra scoops of Matcha powder, a symbol of her unique taste. Beyond her personal interests, Sharon's heart overflowed with devotion to her faith in the Lord, and she cherished the enduring bond she shared with her beloved dogs.
Sharon Ivette Rosado Cannard's life was a testament to love, warmth, and unwavering faith. Her legacy is lovingly preserved in the hearts of her family and friends, all of whom will forever cherish the light she brought into their lives. Her memory continues to shine brightly, inspiring those who knew her to lead lives filled with the same love and compassion she embodied.
Sharon's life was a beautifully woven tapestry of love and family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, David Leslie Cannard, and her parents. Her enduring legacy lives on through her loving and devoted children and their families, who continue to carry her loving spirit: John Cannard (Randi) of Jacksonville, Florida, Mary Eaccarino (Alex) of Roswell, Georgia, Matt Cannard (Morgan) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Reina Tatum (Justin) of Cordele, Georgia; her grandchildren, Tiara Cannard, Gerald Morgan, II, Kaleb Tatum, Justin Tatum Jr., Evan Cannard, Bailey Cannard, Jackson Cannard, Owen Cannard, Elizabeth Eaccarino, Andrew Eaccarino, and Michael Eaccarino; her great-grandson, Liam Morrow; her brothers, Aldo Rosado and Melvin Rosado of Columbus, Georgia, her aunts and uncles, Aglae Reyes of Melbourne, Florida, Renilda Vega of Puerto Rico, Aracelis Gil of New Britain, Connecticut, Carmine Colon of Tampa, Florida, Ramon Reyes of New York, and Julie Caratini of Puerto Rico; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives cherish her memory, as do her special friends: Leobeth Sumner and Carol Herzler of Fitzgerald, Georgia, and Maritza Rodriguez.
