She has gone on ahead.
My grandmother has passed away.
Life is rarely simple, and people are rarely one thing.
She was strong-willed, sharp, and unforgettable.
In her own way, she left a mark on every room she entered.
I carry pieces of that whether by choice or by inheritance.
May she find the peace that sometimes eluded her in this life.
And may those who loved her, or tried to, feel comfort in this time.
