MSgt Gary R. Daratt passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the age of 80. He was born on April 14, 1937 in Auburn, New York to Raymond and Margaret Daratt. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Mark Allen Daratt (Beverly Benson), Laura Lesnowski, Carl Daratt (Norma Villareal); sister, Frieda Zammett; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Castle Ridge Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
