Edith's Obituary

Edith Velez, 57, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her residence.She was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on November 16, 1960; daughter of the late Enrique and Elvira Sandoval. She was a member of Outreach for Jesus.She is survived by her husband, Angel Velez; one son, Joseph Velez; one daughter, Angie Velez; one brother, Enrique Sandoval; one sister, Lissette Ghasemi; two grandchildren, Kaled Velez, and Shaila Velez; one niece Farha Sandoval; and one nephew, Joshua Sandoval.She was preceded in death by her parents.A Celebration of Edith's life will be held at 6:30 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Pastor Victor Catalino. Visitation for Mrs. Gilda Edith Velez will be after 5:30 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
