Nancy was my boss at the Workforce Board Lehigh Valley for several decades, but above all, she was my workforce sister, confidant, travel companion, mentor, coach, and dear friend. There is a hole in my heart now; however, good memories and love are soon to fill the void. My thoughts and sympathy go to Charlie, Aubrey, Jenni, Anderson and all their family and friends.

As a former member of the Workforce Board,I can say that Nancy was extremely passionate about her work, very determined, exuded positivity, and was very kind and fun to be around. My deepest sympathy to her husband and granddaughters,Nancy was one of a kind.

I was saddened by the news of Nancy's passing.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to have known and worked with her.

She was a highly regarded colleague who was well respected statewide, as well as nationally in the workforce community.

His dedication and resilience for doing thing the right things the right way, for the right reasons, were unmatched.

I'm better for having known her and to be able to call her a colleague and friend.

I’m very sorry for your loss Charlie. I worked with Nancy in the LV Business/Education Partnership and was always impressed by her kindness and commitment to helping people develop their potential. May she rest in peace.

Charlie, I am so very sorry, please accept my condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting Nancy a few times, she was a wonderful lady. I will have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Nancy A. Dischinat, 79, of Moore Township, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Nancy was married to her husband Charles R. Dischinat. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in December. Born August 2, 1946, in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Macinski and Ann Johl. From a young age, Nancy had a strong passion for learning and hard work. Her very first job was picking blueberries alongside her grandmother.

After completing high school, she earned her associate’s degree from Northampton County Community College and began her career as a secretary at the Workforce Board Lehigh Valley in Allentown.
