Dear Mcevily family: I am so sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Nancy and she was such a wonderful person, always spreading sunshine wherever she went. My prayers are with you all. God Bless!

We were so saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. We have fond memories of her and your family during the Little League years. Please know we will be praying for all of you.

Nancy's Obituaries

Nancy D. McEvily                                                 InterlakenNancy Durkin McEvily 64 passed away in her home in Interlaken on Thursday March 22, 2018 due to complications of Parkinson's Disease. She was born to Frank and Margaret Durkin in Jersey City NJ and was a graduate of St. Rose HS in 1972 and Boston College in 1976. Nancy and Paul were married in 1978 and have lived happily in Interlaken for 32 years. She loved her life at the shore as she did the company of family and many great friends. Nancy often reflected on the good fortune that she was blessed with, in spite of her challenges with Parkinson's.Nancy is survived by her husband of 39 years Paul L. McEvily, daughter Madeline of Arlington Va., son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Lauren of Boston and son and daughter-in law Brian and Emily of Interlaken. She was a loving grandmother to Quinn, Margaret, Grace and Frances. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6pm in Buckley Funeral Home 509 Second Ave. Asbury Park NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 am in St. Mary's Church, Deal NJ. Interment will be private.
