Aunt Nancy Rudkin

Our dear Aunt Nancy meant so very much to all of our family. She lived a long very full life, but had struggled over the last several years. Even while struggling Aunt Nancy was always concerned about Darlene and I, she always asked if there was anything she and Uncle Al could do for us.
I would be remiss not to mention our dear Uncle Al, he has been a steadfast husband and care provider for Aunt Nancy during these most difficult days.

Nancy's Obituary

Nancy Rudkin, passed away peacefully at her home on July 16, 2024. She was born on August 9, 1936, was a beloved resident of Antioch, CA. She was a life-master bridge player who travelled across the United States to participate in tournaments, showcasing her passion for the game. Nancy's love for her family knew no bounds, and spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy.

Nancy was a remarkable woman, with 4 sons and 15 grandchildren, including great-great-grandchildren. She shared a beautiful bond with her husband, Alvin Rudkin, whom she married on February 5, 1953, in Martinez, CA. They met at the Vogue theater where Nancy worked. Together, they spent 71 wonderful years building a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Known for her quick wit and straight-talking nature, Nancy was a tell-it-like-it-is lady who left a lasting impression on those she encountered. She touched the lives of her children and many grandchildren with unwavering love and support, never giving up on them. Nancy's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory and the love she shared will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
