Nancy Virginia Singleton

Nancy Virginia Singleton of Davison, age 67, died Sunday December 31, 2017 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Monica M. Villarreal officiating, with inurnment and Military Honors to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am Tuesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Nancy’s memory to the Wounded Warriors Project. Nance was born in Detroit Michigan on June 29, 1950 the daughter of the late Jack & Kathryn (Gilles) Hancock and had resided in the Lathrup Village and Southfield areas. Answering the call of her country Nancy proudly served in the US Army.  She is survived by her sons: Wayne and wife Susan Laidler, and Andrew “Drew” Singleton. She also leaves her grandchildren Garrett, Samantha, and Jagger. Nancy is also survived by brothers: Greg Hancock, Jack and wife Cathy Hancock, and a host of other relatives.
