Not sure what to say?

Good bye Nassim, I feel you are very happy. You left a lot of sad family and friends but we all know you are where you always wanted to be when you left all of us. You were one nice person who cared about everyone before yourself. We are privileged to have known you and shared your friendship. You did your job well leaving a very nice family.God Bless them all and give them the support they need.

Corinne and family. So sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of my favorite boss passing. God bless his family

Corrine and family: So sorry to hear about Nassim's passing. I knew Nassim personally through you and professionally through his work at CCA. He will be greatly missed. Sadly we will miss his funeral as we are out of town.
May you find comfort in a lifetime of good memories and the promise of eternal life that awaits all of us when you'll be together again.

One great pal at so many St Ed´s games watching Kevin and our grandson Jack playing great ball! R.I.P. Nassim and pray for us please! What a pleasure to have known you! Margaret & Vince!!!

NASSIM M.'s Obituary

NASSIM M. LYNCH, age 71, beloved husband of Corinne P. (nee Ginley), dear father of John Patrick and Kevin James, son of the late Dorothy E. (nee Hilow) and John P. Lynch, beloved brother of Christine Dorsey (Joseph-deceased) and brother-in-law of James (deceased), Tom (Cathy deceased), Colleen (David Bolander), and Tim. Loved uncle, cousin and a dear friend of many.A proud product of St. Ignatius of Antioch and W.110th Street; Nassim was an alumni of St. Edward High School in Lakewood, and matriculated at Ohio Dominican University earning a degree in philosophy. While always claiming to be a polymath, (“the nuns told my mother”) Nassim chose to earn an MBA From Baldwin Wallace University and later entered the role as the commissioner of taxation for the city of Cleveland where he served under five different mayoral administrations. Nassim was a proud American that embraced both his Irish and Lebanese heritages. He was active in all his communities; The West Side Irish American Club, St. Edward Alumni Association, the Neighborhood Veterans Club, the American Heart Association, and the St Bernadette’s and Krahla Golf Leagues. Passing away on October 3, 2025, which was coincidentally the day of the St. Edward and St. Ignatius football game, Nassim undoubtedly watched gleefully as the Eagles handled the Wildcats 45-31. An avid golfer, he could spend an afternoon telling you how he almost had a hole-in-one that one time. Always the one with a quip or historical anecdote, Nassim could “hold court” and tell stories for hours and cherished every conversation he had. A stoic yet gregarious, thoughtful, and caring man, Nassim was a confidant and friend to many.

Nassim often said, when he was making his long outros, “Tell all the people that know me I say ‘hello’.” We ask that you all do the same.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for his Funeral Mass Thursday, October 9, St. Ignatius of Antioch Church (Lorain Ave. & West Blvd.) at 11 A.M. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DRIVE AT PURITAS WEDNESDAY 4-8 P.M.
