It is with my deepest sorrow that I announce the passing of my son, Nathan J. Trezza. Nathan was a childhood cancer survivor; he knew how to fight for life and to hope for the best. However, following a sudden relapse of cancer, my handsome, strong son passed away on March 13, 2024. at the age of 40 years old.
Nathan was a special person - someone you could laugh, cry, and talk to. He always knew how to give some cheer with his silly pranks. He was the best son, brother, uncle, and friend that anyone could have been blessed to have. While Nathan did not have much, he always did his best to help others when he saw the need.
In his early childhood Nathan discovered a love for sports that grew with time. He always had the answer to any sports-related question, he played baseball for many years, and even helped coach his younger sister's team. After graduating from Concord High School, he decided he wanted to be a sports commentator. He enrolled into Los Medanos College and began working towards his goal. After attending college for some time, he realized that he wanted to be an interpreter to support his hard of hearing/deaf community, he later graduated with his Associate's Degree.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandpa Nathan Trezza Sr., grandma Christine Trezza, nana Juanita Wilkerson, grandpa Fritz Hercules and his father Nathan Trezza Jr. Nathan was survived by his mother Jeanne Trezza, brother Russ Hercules, sister Kaila Colon-Trezza, sister Alexia Trezza, brother Christopher Trezza, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held to honor his memory on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Please join our family as we say our goodbyes and celebrate his life.
