Nathan Samuel Williamson SR, 68 of Belfry, KY, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his residence. Nathan was born December 8, 1954, at Pikeville, KY, the son of the late Samuel Everett Williamson and Glennis Cochran Williamson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Smith, and his siblings, Movetta Williamson Sands and James Everett Williamson. He was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA. Survivors include his children, Nathan Williamson Jr., Monica Williamson Cody, Mindy Willliamson Stepp, Rachel Willliamson, Daniel Williamson, Marie Williamson Morris and Angie Williamson; his siblings, Chalmer Williamson, Daphayne Williamson Bowens, and Melvin Williamson. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of other loving family and friends. Per Nathan's request there will not be any services. R. E.
