Nathaniel “Doc” Singleton

Nathaniel “Doc” Singleton, age 66 was born on Tuesday, December 9, 1958, in New Orleans, Louisiana, departed this earthly home and was granted eternal life on Friday, April 25, 2025. Nathaniel attended schools in Terrebonne Parish and graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1976. Nathaniel leaves behind his loving daughters: Jaida Antoine (Wayne) and Markina Singleton; his one and only devoted sister, Diane Singleton (Perry) ; his three grandchildren: Demarcus Singleton, Troyonne Jackson, and Jay’cione Antoine; one great-grandchild, Zy’ria Jackson; one aunt, Emma Poole; his nephews, Herman Johnson (Anrica)  and Bernell Johnson; two nieces, Lateacha  Barrow (James)  and Shaneka Johnson; and his bonus children: Stacey Bogen (James), Troy Sims, Chris Sims(Sherry), Shone Sims, Southern Sims, and Nathaniel Singleton’s bonus granddaughter, Kamesha Brown. Nathaniel was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Singleton Sr. and Thelma Louise Singleton; his brother, Donald Singleton, Jr.; paternal grandparents: Jerry and Coretha Singleton; maternal grandmother: Sophia Johnson; and one niece, Tyraneka Johnson Antione. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at New Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, 146 Banks Street, Houma, LA 70363 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m .
