I grew up in Slidell, down the street from Nebeha . My first cousin Francis Carollo grew up and was friends with Nebeha. She used to cut my hair and I loved going in to see her. She was a wonder. This brings back many memories of her. I left Slidell 1957 but always remembered Nebeha. I send prayers of faith hope and love.. Nina Fontana Leonard.

Aunt Nebeha, was the last of a line of strong willed, smart, and confident women. Her influence on the community of Slidell will never be matched and she will be greatly missed.
