Ohhh Dom, my heart aches for you and your family. I'm still in complete shock and just keep wishing I had known and could have done something to stop this. Your laugh was contagious and you could light up a room with your smile. You have touched the lives of so many and have left far too soon. You will forever be in my thoughts and prayers, old friend. Rest in peace and may God keep you, forever.

Theriot Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Dom. The moment that came to mind was his first day in Mr. Lightner's class. I remember introducing myself and making conversation. In true Dom form he used engaged back with a witty comment and made everyone laugh. May you find comfort in the memories and the love that surrounds you. My prayers are with your family during this time.

Dear Julie, Neil, and family,
We are very sorry and heartbroken to hear of the loss of your son Domanic. In the short time that we knew him we could see that he was a truly loving and outgoing person, always concerned about others. May you find comfort in Gods love and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Julie and Neil,
What a great and beautiful person Dom was as I viewed his legacy. There are no words for a loss so young and as just a distant relative my heart breaks for you. They say it's now how long you live, but how you live and I think he did live life to its fullest as I saw. May God be close to you and the family at this time and like Scott said: Dom, we'll see you again down the line. Love from the Broussards.

The youngest of four children of Neil and Julie Theriot, Dom was our treasure and gift. Dom was passionate about his friendships, his education and his style. His attention to detail was unmatched and his smile warmed the room. He had the unique ability to make others feel special and welcomed in his life. He was the most genuine and positive influence in our lives.
After graduating high school from Holy Angels Academy in Minnesota, Dom pursued an undergraduate degree and graduated from UL with a Bachelor’s in Professional Land & Resource Management. His career as a Land Man took him to Dallas, Houston, then eventually back to Lafayette, where he worked tirelessly for several years at Freeport-McMoran, Inc. His most recent aspirations of becoming a Lawyer took him to Tulane University in New Orleans, where he was elected class President and awarded a clerkship during his first few months in school.
As an advocate of health and fitness, Dom also joined the Cycle Bar family as an Instructor. He proudly and whole-heartedly gave everything he had to inspire others. He found much of his happiness and joy in this newly found and God given gift.
He enjoyed dancing, laughing, spending time with his adoring family and most of all loved to see others smile. Until we meet again, rest easy sweet Dom.
He is survived by his parents, Neil D. Theriot, Sr. and Julie Angelle Theriot of Houston, TX; his sisters, Reneé Ezell and husband Zach of Lafayette, Meagan Mach and husband Adam of Youngsville, and Angelle Kuehner and husband Graham of Prague MN; his godchild, Ava Ezell; nieces and nephews, Owen Ezell, James and Julie Mach, and Scarlett and Stella Kuehner; and his best friends, Lindsay Sanders of Lafayette and Alex Lafleur of Breaux Bridge.
