Neil's Obituary

Neil W. Fowser of Medford, New Jersey passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2017. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Fowser was born in Salem, New Jersey. He graduated from The University of Delaware where he played saxophone in the marching band and met another saxophone player who would become his wife of 58 years.  He served his country with the US Army and enjoyed a distinguished career in the field of accounting, retiring as a partner with Ernst and Young in 1994.

Mr. Fowser is survived by his wife Ann Fowser of Medford NJ, sister Eleanor Fowser of Concho AZ, son Mark Fowser of New Castle DE, son Scott Fowser of Chatsworth CA and daughter Lori Fowser of Elkridge MD, as well as numerous cousins.

Mr. Fowser enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, fishing, visits to the beach and ice hockey (especially the Philadelphia Flyers, attending nearly every home game for more than four decades). His service to the community included volunteering with the Radnor Green Civic Association (Delaware), the Lions Club, the Medford Lakes Colony Club, guiding Ocean City beach nature walks and coordinator of AARP tax preparation services for senior citizens.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life for Neil Fowser Monday October 30th, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Holly Room of Medford Leas, 1 Medford Leas Way, Medford NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross or Caring Hospice would be appreciated.
