The loss of my beloved Grandfather lays heavy on my heart today. He was much more than a Grandfather to me. He was the epitome of a hard-working and honest man. He showed me at a young age what the values of honesty and integrity meant. Teaching the grandchildren how to fish was one of the many life lessons that he provided us. He will always be remembered for the impacts that he made on the family and the times that were spent with him. He has touched the lives of many that he was probably...

HANNA Jr., Neil C.; of Waterford formerly of Warren; passed away at home surrounded by his family on September 7, 2018; age 78; dear husband of Patricia (nee Persia) for 57 years; father of Julie (Jeff) Lemond, Sharri (Carl) Moreau, Neil (Christina) Hanna III & Lorie ( Matthew) McAllister; proud grandfather of Zachery (Jill) Lemond, Quinton Lemond, Michael (Romina) Moreau, Emilie Lemond, Samantha McAllister, Matthew McAllister Jr, Andrew McAllister, Neil Hanna & Mia Hanna; great grandpa of Aila Lemond, Dani Lemond, Eric Lemond, Ryan Lemond & Michael Moreau, Jr.; brother of Jacqueline Sparo; preceded in death by his parents Neil (late Ann) & Ella Hanna and his siblings: Kathryn Kur, Jane Hanna & Samuel Hanna. Neil was the proud owner of Central Appliance in Hazel Park for over 60 years, which has been family owned & operated since 1919. He loved hunting, fishing, boating & family holidays. Memorial Visitation Sunday, Sept. 9th from 3:00pm-9:00pm with a (time pending) eulogy at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.
