Sandra I'm so sorry to hear about Nelson's passing. May he rest in peace.

Love you forever. Until we meet again Nel(Bert).

Sandra, please know our hearts and prayers are with you and your family. We will always remember Nelson. He was such a wonderful man. Mickey will always have wonderful memories of him and Nelson's friendship. We will never forget his laugh and smile.

Nelson's Obituary

Nelson John Besson, 68, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 9:29 AM. Born September 29, 1949, he was a native and resident of Labadieville.

Private services were held.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandra Landry Besson; daughter, Natasha R Besson and wife, Susan McCormack; son, Jordan C Besson and companion Vanessa Alonso; grandchildren, Trey and Abrianna Besson; step grandchildren, Aaron and Ailynn; sisters, Betty B Cavalier and husband Jessie, Grace B Thibodeaux and husband Percy, Beverly "Wessa"Bourgeois and husband Ray and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marguerite Fremin Besson; brother, Charles "Charlo" Besson; nephew, Bryan Cavalier.

 He retired from McDermott as a crane operator.  He enjoyed hunting, gardening and going to the casino.

Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
