While working with his mom on several occasions...he would come in and pick on her so much that I cracked up laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. He was such a happy lovable kid. Miss the family and sending you all my love and prayers.

Nelson's Obituary

Nelson Gamez Jr. left us too soon unexpectedly on Sept. 16th, 2021.

He was born June 29th, 2002 in Rancho Mirage, CA. He lived in Blythe, CA.

He was a good kid in school. He loved learning. His dream as a young kid was to play baseball for his favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. He loved baseball, it was his favorite sport. He was a big fan of the team.

Nelson also loved and enjoyed being around his family. He would light up the room. He always made sure everyone was smiling and laughing, always pulling jokes and pranks. He made sure there was never a dull moment. He had a big heart and was always willing to help others.

He had a really close bond with his brothers and sister. He would always be wrestling with his brothers or playing video games. He would give his sister his big brother advice and made sure she was always good. He loved his siblings so much. He enjoyed making his family laugh. He had unique laugh that got everyone laughing too. He was a loveable person with a big heart. He had the biggest, amazing, most beautiful smile. He was always there for anyone. Always turning frowns into smiles. Always knew how to make someone feel special. He was loved by many and he will be missed by many.

He is survived by his mother, Noemi Garcia, his sister Jasmine Garcia, and his brothers James Nixon, Alexzander Nixon and Jayden Nixon.

Visitation will be at Frye Chapel on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at 6pm to 8pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, October 8th, 2021 at 10am also at Frye Chapel with burial services following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
