Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Marsha and I would like to Ralph Jr. And his wife how sorry we are for their loss as well as all the family. Be assured the Ralph Sr. And Ms. Nettle knew Jesus Christ was their Savior and new all the goodness of life was from The Lord Jesus and their 70 year marriage is a testament of commitment before the Lord. Be comforted now knowing their joy is now made complete. They will live in the eternal light of Christ's presence and one great day by death or call of the Church, we be together...

I dearly loved Nettie...I got to know her from much time spent together when I brought books to her from the library...she made me feel so loved...I will truly miss her...

How beautiful heaven must be. I will miss that sweet smile and our visits at church and I will hold close the sweet letter from sweet Nettie. Prayers, love and sympathy. Miss Nettie got her wish.

Nettie Livingston Funeral Broadcast

On the evening of November 5, 2025, Nettie Green Livingston made her way through the gates of heaven. Born on March 12, 1929, she eagerly danced into the arms of her husband of 70 years, Ralph Livingston Sr., sister Joyce (Floyd Ray & Steven) Cox, brother Hershel Green, and grandson Adam Alexander Mitchell. And what a reunion it must have been.

Nettie devoted her entire life to giving back to others. In her earlier years, she headed an outreach program at a local nursing home at Vineland Park Baptist Church in Hueytown, Alabama then later founded a Sunday school class for individuals with special needs of all ages at Whites Chapel Baptist Church in Gadsden, Alabama.

After working as an LPN for a few years, Nettie became an RN in 1978 where she devoted her life to caring for others, eventually retiring several years after moving to Kentucky to be closer to her children and grandchildren. One of Nettie’s greatest joys was watching her grandchildren grow their families where she often spoiled their children with ice cream covered in chocolate syrup and marshmallows but said it was ok because she sang them hymns, worked puzzles and taught them all about working in the medical field.

Nettie is survived by her children Marsha (Wayne) Mitchell, Kathy Livingston, Ralph Jr (Lynn) Livingston, grandchildren Jessica (Gabriel) Czirr, Maeghan (Chris) Disponett, Natalie (Myles) Young, brother Wayne Green, and great grandchildren Walker, Emmett, and Oliver Czirr, Jared, Hunter and Xander Disponett, and Bailey Young.

Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Central KY Medical Group in Versailles, specifically Dr. Dale Goodin for over 30 years of care, the incredible doctors and nurses at Saint Joe Hospital Hospice Care, the Anderson County Library Ladies, and all of her amazing church family at New Hope Baptist Church in Versailles, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Chris Harper and Bro. Rick Ralston. Visitation will take place beginning at 1:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Myles Young, Chris Disponett, Jared Disponett, Hunter Disponett, Gabriel Czirr, and Walker Czirr. Honorary pallbearers will be Emmett and Oliver Czirr, Xander Disponett, Al Arrington, Aaron Goodpaster, Marcus Young, Martin Young, as well as the deacons of New Hope Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the building fund at New Hope Baptist Church, P.O. Box 825, Versailles, KY 40383.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg. Condolences may be shared at www.ritchieandpeach.com.
