Nicholas William's Obituary

Rahway? Mr. Nicholas William Chilakos, 95 died Thursday October 30, 2014 at home. He was born in Millville, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Rahway. Mr. Chilakos was a Furniture Finisher for Rockford Furniture in Woodbridge, NJ. Nicholas was a Decon at the 1st Baptist Church in Rahway and a member of its choir. He volunteered at the Food for Friends for many years in Rahway. He enjoyed his family and was a handy man around the house.Mr. Chilakos is survived by his wife, Cleo (Andrews )Chilakos of 67 years, a son William and his wife Danielle, two daughters, Elaine and her husband James Mauro and Joan Chilakos, a brother Charles Chilakos. He is also survived by four grandchildren John and Nicholas Mauro and Sarah Andrews and Stacey Lopez and two great grandchildren Giuliana and James Mauro. Funeral Services will take place Monday, November 3, 2014 , 10:00 am at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 West Milton Avenue, Rahway, NJ 07065. Interment Hazelwood Cemetery, Clark. Visitation on Sunday, 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Contribution can be made to Grace Hospice, 105 Field Crest Avenue, Suite 402, Edison, NJ 08837
