Nicole's Obituary

Nicole Marie Cook, 44, of Blanchard, died Friday, May 2, 2025, in Oklahoma City after a courageous battle with cancer.  The daughter of James Kenneth Lackey and Yvonne Marie (Coleman) Lackey, Nicole was born June 25, 1980, in Oklahoma City.

Nicole was a 1998 graduate of Westmoore High School and attended The Methodist Church of Blanchard.  She worked as an esthetician and cosmetology instructor at various schools and most recently worked as the office manager for a medical spa.  She married Dustin Lee Cook on December 22, 2017, in Blanchard.  In her spare time, Nicole enjoyed gardening, binge-watching her shows, and going to brunch with her girlfriends.  She loved anything Disney and anything to do with holidays, especially Halloween and the 4th of July.  Nicole enjoyed baking and she made the best chocolate chip cookies.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her kids and she cherished every moment spent with them.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Chloe Marie Phillips; and her grandparents, Raymond and Naomi Lackey, and Harry and Phyllis Coleman.

Nicole is survived by her husband, Dustin Cook of Blanchard; her beloved children, Lily, Hudson, and Ella Cook; her parents, Jim and Von Lackey of Blanchard; her brother, Josh Lackey and husband, Adam Glant, of Seattle, Washington; sister-in-law, DesiRae Priddy and husband Ray, of Ardmore;  a nephew, Samuel; a niece, Adilyn; parents-in-law, Bill and Darla Frick of Chickasha; and many other relatives and friends.

Viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 9, 2025, at The Methodist Church of Blanchard.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
