Not sure what to say?

Although we didn’t see Norm often, he was family and his loss leaves a void where great love and laughter once existed. Our hearts are heavy, but we know the angels are laughing with him now. Rest easy, Norm. See you again some day. Clete and Rose Schnieders

We always knew it was gonna be a good pour when you pulled up to our jobsites . Rest easy my friend .

Rest in peace, Norman. You were an old friend back from 2nd grade and through school in Xenia. You had such a good personality and the best sense of humor. I remember the guys you hung around with - you were all clowns!
I wish your family and loved ones peace at this most difficult time.

I’m glad that I was able to witness the real Norm, never a dull minute bro , keep them laughing up there ole buddy.

You were more than a customer you were my friend! It was a honor to know you. Rest in peace my friend.

Norman's Obituary

Funeral services with Military Honors will be held for Norman Lee Stamper on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 3:00P.M. from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Strong officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00P.M. until the time of the services at 3:00P.M.

Norman Lee Stamper, 62, went home to be with the Lord on February 25th, 2026. He is survived by the love of his life, Lee Price; his sister, Kimberly Stamper; his nephew, Scott (Keitha) Stamper; his cousin, LeeAnne Abel; and his bonus family: Wanda and Jesse Sanders, Brad (Melissa) Sanders, Laronda (Jeff) Wendall, and Steve (Barb) Sanders. Norm was blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family who love him more than words can say.

Norm’s goal was to always make people laugh. All who knew him were touched by his humor, humility, and quiet strength. Norm loved his career as a ready-mix driver; you couldn’t find a person more fully devoted or who worked harder than him at making his customers happy.

Norm proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. His military career, honorably discharged as an SP-4, took him from his small hometown of Xenia, Ohio to Missouri, Washington state, Honduras, and Germany.

Norm is predeceased by his beloved mother, Elizabeth, and grandparents, Arthur and Lena. Norm was truly the “golden child of the family” and he loved it. Though his passing has taken so much laughter from this world, Norm will be remembered by those left behind for his heart, his kindness, his effort, and his love for his friends and family.

"In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greene County Ohio Humane Society, 187 Bellbrook Ave, Xenia, OH 45385."
