Norman's Obituary

Norman Benjamin Williams III, affectionally known as Nornie was born October 12, 1959 in Trenton NJ.  Norman was raised in Allentown, NJ and later moved to Cranbury, NJ where he attended Hightstown High School.  In high school Norman enjoyed playing both Basketball and soccer. Following high school, Norman attended Trenton State College for 3 years. Norman was a US Marine Veteran serving as a Corporal “Special Ops”.  Norman later moved to Arizona where he lived on a Native American reservation with the Navajo people. Norman moved back to Browns Mills, New Jersey where he remained until his death.  Norman retired from the State of New Jersey where he worked for over 25 years.    

Norman is proceeded in death by his mother Ellen (Scott) Williams. Norman leaves behind his father Norman Williams Sr. Norman is survived by his wife of 26 years Sylvia Williams; his children Ivory Williams, Avery Williams-Picott, Emery Williams-Picott, Marsha Figaro, and Candance Figaro Luk (Justin Luk); his grandchildren Marcus, Jannessa, Tristan, Ethan, Elijah, Riley, and Kobe.  Norman is survived by his siblings Norma Troutman (Johnnie Troutman), Cynthia Williams, and Jason Jones (Breyn Jones).  Norman leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12pm on Tuesday, October 21st at Saint Ann’s Church located at 22 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.  Interment with Military honors will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown New Jersey. Repass will be held at the BMIA building located at 40 Arbutus Street, Browns Mills NJ.
