Nuncio Chinni, 89 of Hazleton, died Tuesday October 2nd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton the son of the late Pasquale and Ruth (Formica) Chinni, and was a member of Most Precious Blood Church.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a welder for Montone Manufacturing and served in the US Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was his wife the former Angeline Lyate, who died this past January, brother; Rocco, sisters;
Laura Pauline, Mary Pauline and Grace Piacenti.
Surviving are his daughter, Ruth Ann Kiefer, Southampton, PA, sons; Gerard, Oregon, Robert and his wife Theresa, Coopersburg, and Rich, Hazleton.
Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with a brother, Joseph and his wife Roseann, Hazle Twp.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday morning at 9:30 am in Most Precious Blood Church, followed by interment in Most Precious Blood Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call Friday morning from 8:30 am till the time of the mass at the church.
