What a wonderful long and full life she had! I will always remember Aunt Ola as someone who would give it to you straight, but still be full of love. She will be missed.

Ola's Obituary

Ola Lillian Bellant of Montrose, formerly of Davison, age 87, died Sunday June 1, 2025 at Henry Ford – Genesys Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday June 5, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Burial will follow in Meadowview Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon until time of services at the funeral home.

Ola was born in Livonia, Michigan on September 28, 1937, and has resided in Montrose the last several years; she had spent most of her life in Davison and a period of time in Tawas. She was joined in marriage to Charles N. Bellant on September 19, 1978 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2014. Ola graduated from Davison High School in 1955. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions, and always enjoyed watching NASCAR. She had been a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of both the Davison Eagles Auxiliary #3589, and Tawas Eagles Auxilary #2588, and had served has Madam President during her years. She had been employed for Homer Hill Clothing in Davison for many years, and with her husband Charles managed the Tawas River Trailer Park, prior to relocating to Montrose.

Surviving are children: Teri Graham, Wendy (Michael) Gurd, Joy Mitchell, Jill Letourneau, Doug (Mary Jo) Graham, and Danielle (Tara) Emery. She also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by grandson Michael Gurd, great grandson Trenton Gurd, son-in-law Tom Letourneau, and the father of her children Arthur Graham.
