OLIVER WILLIAM CAVITT age 74 of Ledyard, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
He was born in Buffalo, New York on July 10, 1951 the son of Earl H. and Rose Cavitt. He was married to Elma Garceniela in Groton on September 5, 1993.
Oliver worked as a receipt control clerk for the Federal Government at the Submarine Base in Groton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Justin W. H. Cavitt of Somerville, Ma and two sisters.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 20 a the Byes-Groton Memorial Home , 310 Thames St from 9 until 10 o’clock followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 52 Sacred Heart Dr at 10:30. Interment will be private.
