He is survived by his loving wife Betty Bolden Irving; children, Kenneth (Connie) Irving, Jarvis Irving, Belinda Long and Parthenia Worthy; Brother, Emanuel (Mary P.) Irving; godchild, Trenice (Carlton) Irving-Vinson; grandchildren, Ashley Lawson, Kenneth Lawson, Aaron Lawrence, Candace Young-Green and Matthew Worthy;six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, others relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his children Aaron "Ram" Irving and Latasha Irving; his parents, Oliver, Sr. and Ruth Cain Irving; grandson, Reginald Smith.
